Silver Lake’s security staff is on site, 24/7. Security connects with local services such as fire and police departments. They also interact with utilities when services are interrupted.

During the day, every day of the week, the receptionists act as security. They check visitors in and out and supply visitor badges.

Evening and night security is handled by staff security personnel. There is a routine “walkabout” by security around 8 p.m.

Because Silver Lake is in a park-like setting, residents are encouraged to engage with unfamiliar visitors and inform them that Silver Lake is private property.
